Welcome to Colorburst Artworks, a portfolio of Melvin ten Napel. This portfolio contains work made for freelance projects, internships, school projects and things made for for fun. At the moment Melvin just graduated at the Graphic Lyceum in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. And now studies "Communication and Multimedia Design" at the Hague University. So, take a look at my work and enjoy a colorful tour of my idea's and fantasy.

About Me
Melvin ten Napel, Art Student
Melvin is vanaf jongs af, sinds hij een potlood kwam vastpakken al begonnen met tekenen. Opgegroeid met comics,cartoons,anime en manga, hij wist vanaf jongs af aan dat iets met illustratie zou doen. In de jaren heen heeft hij ICT gestudeerd maar na deze opleiding was een creative opleiding toch meer voor hem weggelegd.
Melvin heeft in de loop der jaren een concept/visie ontwikkeld waar vooral het gebruik van kleur, lijnstijl en de sfeer het meeste bepalende in zijn werk zijn. Melvin heeft door zijn opleiding op het Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam veel inspiratie opgedaan, welke uiteindelijk mede bepalend zijn geworden, wie Melvin is en wat hij maakt. Deze visie zal hij in de komende jaren nog verder ontwikkelen.
